Fiona Mitchell-Corbett is the Vice President Hydrogen Safety at Gexcon. Based in Australia, she leads the development of Gexcon’s global hydrogen services comprising safety consulting, advanced engineering software, and fire and explosion testing.

With 15 years of experience in the energy industry, Fiona has held roles in process safety for global energy companies supporting greenfield and brownfield opportunities across the project lifecycle. Fiona leverages her extensive experience in hazard identification, qualitative and quantitative risk assessment, and risk management to promote the importance of integrating process safety across the hydrogen value chain with a focus on inherent safety in design.

Fiona is a Chartered Chemical Engineer (MIChemE, CEng) with a Postgraduate Diploma in Safety, Risk and Reliability Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of Canterbury.
