Jan founded zepp.solutions in 2017 together with four former colleagues of the Forze Hydrogen Racing Team of the TU Delft. Recognising the potential of fully integrated hydrogen technology modules in an early stage, their mission from the start has been to make hydrogen fuel cell technology accessible and attractive to all vehicle manufacturers and shipyards. Zepp’s systems are used in a growing portfolio of products and projects, ranging from yard tractors to excavators and from the Watertaxi in Rotterdam to the 67 meter-long ship ‘Ab Initio’. No bold promises of a hydrogen-powered tomorrow, but reliable and optimised systems that can be implemented today
