Louise is responsible for driving growth and business development in
hydrogen and carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS) at bp. She
is passionate about bp’s purpose to re-imagine energy for people and
our planet – and is thrilled to be part of shaping a growing sector of
low carbon solutions, like hydrogen and CCUS.
Louise joined bp in 2001 as a drilling engineer in the Gulf of Mexico.
She has spent most of her 20 years at bp in the Upstream in a variety
of engineering and leadership positions.
In 2014 she was appointed the business advisor to the chief operating
officer, production, and later the chief executive, Upstream in London.
Prior to becoming the SVP, hydrogen and CCUS, Louise was a wells
operations manager and the drilling engineering manager for the
Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) field in Baku, Azerbaijan.
