Michiel Nijboer is a seasoned financial professional in the energy and maritime industry. Prior to joining Royal HaskoningDHV, he worked in the European natural gas transmission and wholesale trading business for 10 years. At Royal HaskoningDHV he supports public and private clients in their investment decisions with financial and economic analysis as well as market, policy and strategic studies. He has been involved in numerous investment projects across the globe, including many renewable energy projects and port related investments. Michiel coordinated the study for the European Sea Ports Organisation and European Federation of Inland Ports on the impact of energy transition on ports.
