Cornelis Hulst has over 20 years of international experience in the port and logistics industry. He has worked at board-level for several multinationals in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and has gained experience in port privatization and development. Provided consulting services to port organizations in Vietnam, Indonesia and several countries in South America. A mechanical engineer and qualified maintenance specialist, Cornelis earned a master’s degree in business administration from a UK university. Mr. Hulst managed container, bulk, break bulk, liquid bulk and Ro-Ro terminals and was involved in industrial operations, logistics distribution centers, free zones and transportation corridors. Working for Europe’s largest educational and knowledge institute for the maritime, logistics and transport industry in Rotterdam, he gained knowledge of the important HR side of the industry. Cornelis, Dutch, currently serves, on behalf of the Port of Rotterdam, as Vice President (COO) in the Senior Director team at the Pecém Complex.
