Akin Ande is the founder of Tekinologi and CEO of Chert Group, which consists of 5 companies operating on 3 continents, serving customers in 12 countries. Using his software background as a stepping stone, he launched the largest B-2-B IT platform in Nigeria in 2011 (www.chert.ng). Growing the company’s value from $67,000 in year one to millions of dollars in 3 years.
In 2019 he founded Tekinologi, a provider of smart energy solutions for commercial and industrial buildings in Nigeria. Through the application of IoT technology, the company designs, develops and implements intelligent energy management solutions to help its customers manage and control their energy consumption, while promoting renewable and sustainable climate-friendly technologies.
Currently, there is a huge demand for alternative sustainable energy. Tekinologi is partnering with a number of local and international companies and research institutions to explore and develop Nigeria’s first hydrogen valley.
