Camilo Avilés has more than 6 years fully dedicated in Chile to electricity markets, participating in several studies that have required vast knowledge in regulatory, economic and operational matters. He has a Bachelor and Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and more than 2 years dedicated to academic research, focused on distribution systems, considering the uptakes of new technologies and smart grids. Since 2021 is the Head of the New Energy Carriers Unit of the Chilean Ministry of Energy.
