Diogo was born in Lisbon, Portugal, on the 1st of February 1981.

He’s a Mechanical Engineer from Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon, Portugal, with specialization in Automation, Robotics, and Systems, focused on product development engineering design.

Started its professional career in the automotive sector as a Technical Specialist at the Quality and Service Department of Renault Nissan Portugal, SA from 2005 to 2007, being responsible for the training and assistance to the dealers network, assuring project management of e-commerce platform.

Moved into the industrial sector in 2007 by joining Legrand Eléctrica, SA, as the Product Assembly Manager until 2015, being responsible for Coordination, Supervision and Maintenance of Automatic and Manual Assembly Lines.

In 2012 he was a Founding Partner of ULTIMATE POWER®, assuring the Technical Management of the project being responsible for the Product Development, Production Management and Supervision, Develop and Manage Production Resources, Implement and Manage the Quality System, Technical Installers Training, Installation and Supervision of Industrial Equipment. As the company grew up, he was also Founding Partner of ULTIMATE CELL®, in 2016, accumulating the responsibility of Intellectual Property Management, and latter a Founding Parter of UTIS®, in 2018, being responsible for industrial applications and dimensioning of hydrogen production systems. After the merge of ULTIMATE POWER® and UTIS® in 2022, he’s currently the Chief Operating Officer at UTIS®.
