Mr. Medjelled is a graduate of the National School of Administration.

He holds a Master’s degree in Economics and a Doctorate in Economics.

His background includes 31 years of experience at the Ministry of Energy and Mines

where he held several senior positions:

 

-Assistant Director of Economic Studies in 2001,

-Director of Information Systems and Economic Analysis in 2003

– Director General of Economic and Forward Studies from 2020 to date.

 

Mr. Medjelled is a member of several economic committees at the level of OPEC, GECF and OPEC and is the author of several scientific articles, both nationally and internationally. He is the chair of the interdepartmental committee responsible for developing the national hydrogen development strategy.
