Jan Lenders obtained his chemical engineering degree from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in 2017. He started his career as a Technical Service Engineer for chlor-alkali electrolysis at The Chemours Company. After one year, he switched to developing new applications for Nafion™ ion exchange materials in water electrolysis and fuel cells. He is currently leading a team of Application Development Engineers to create high-performing Nafion™ membranes with Chemours’ customers. His main interests are bringing the green hydrogen economy to a cost-competitive level and doing so in a sustainable manner.
