Marsha is an independent consultant specialized in lifelong learning and in strategic public-private partnerships. She developed this concept to be implemented into vocational education and new universities. She participates in several advisory boards on these subjects. She has a background in artificial intelligence and previously worked as a director at an university. She has been running the Human Capital Agenda (HCA) of the Top Sector Energy (TSE) several years now. TSE is a public-private cooperation, which focuses on the national sustainability goals, as defined in the climate agreement of July 2018. The HCA concerns the labour-market challenges that inhibit realizing these goals. From January 2022, Marsha runs the national program ‘Human Capital Agenda on Hydrogen’ as part of GroenvermogenNL. Furthermore, she works on a national research program on lifelong learning in cooperation with the NWO (Dutch Organisation of Scientific Research). She developed the ‘learning communities’ approach (connecting learning – working – innovation) to keep the development of students and professionals in step with the speed of technological innovations.
