Simone van Trier is a professional, experienced and multi-faceted moderator and presentation coach. She attended the hotel management school in Maastricht and developed her journalistic skillset in the years that followed. For the last 25 years, she has been working on diverse topics in various settings from individual trainings, to small focus groups and large conferences. In addition, she brings 20 years of experience as a news anchor for regional broadcasters L1TV and L1Radio.
Her signature contribution to the quality of any event starts with a thorough preparation. Through detailed in-person briefings with organizers and speakers, the desired product is defined and each contribution is critically assessed and finetuned. Where needed, Simone likes to think along on the format, the order of speakers and various ways of interacting with the audience.
Simone van Trier brings a lot of positive energy and has a sharp eye and ear for what is being said and shown but will not hesitate to also address what is meant and felt in-between the lines. She is very capable of differentiating the red line from side issues to keep a focused discussion on the core matter.
Simone is convinced that proper communication is key to the success of any event. To do so, she aims to create an atmosphere where everyone is listening, looking and speaking with attention and respect for one another and everyone’s unique personal background.
