Dr. Yassaa Noureddine is the Commissioner for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency in Algeria, Professor at University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene and the former Director of the Centre for Renewable Energy Development. A Bureau Member of the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and Member of the Board of Trustees of the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE), Dr. Yassaa serves in a number of national, regional and international advisory committees on Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Environment, Climate Change, Energy Transition and Sustainable Development. Prof. Yassaa is author and co-author of more than 70 peer-reviewed international scientific publications, member of editorial boards of several international scientific journals and manager of national and international programs.
