Peter Wagner is CEO at Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases Group, and Director at Nikkiso Co. Ltd., the Group’s parent company which is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. He is responsible for the strategy, performance, and growth of the Company’s Industrial division — Nikkiso CE&IG — which is one of the largest cryogenic manufacturers in the world and a leading provider of innovative equipment, technologies, and services.
Prior to joining Nikkiso in 2018, Wagner was CEO and Managing Director at LEWA Group. He has extensive experience in equipment manufacturing and energy including 24 years at Atlas Copco where he worked as an executive and held various leadership positions during his tenure at the Swedish company.
In addition to his Board seat at Nikkiso Corporate, Wagner is on the Board of Directors for Proton Green, a leading operator of one of the largest helium and beverage-grade CO2 hubs in North America.
Wagner has a Master of Science degree in Engineering from Cologne University of Applied Sciences in Germany. A veteran of the German Air Force, Wagner was awarded the Medal of Honor for his service.
He lives in Southern California with his wife Claudia.
