Rachel is an energy journalist and deputy editor of Hydrogen Insight, which launched in 2022 to look beyond the hype surrounding the hydrogen industry and provide a balanced, independent view of the market. Previously, she worked as a hydrogen reporter at Hydrogen Insight’s sister title, Recharge, and before that she was editor of a natural gas publication Gas Matters. She was freelance for many years, covering a range of energy topics from geopolitics to smart grids; and gas hubs to the climate crisis.
