Simon Herbert leads the Low Carbon Solutions business for ExxonMobil across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. In this role, he establishes businesses across all the verticals of Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage, Hydrogen and Low Emission Fuels. Simon is a keen advocate of Inclusion & Diversity. He mentors early career talent and is a leadership development coach.

Simon began his professional career with Deloitte in the UK in 1995. After earning the chartered accounted designation, he joined Esso Petroleum Company in the UK in 1998. Throughout his 24-year career with the corporation, he has held various leadership positions within the Downstream business, spanning Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Operations and Strategy. Simon has lived in the UK, the U.S. and Belgium and has extensive international experience.

Simon graduated from the University of London with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, and he holds a Masters in Theoretical Astrophysics from the University of St. Andrews.
