Ahead of the #WorldHydrogen2022 Summit & Exhibition, we spoke to The Rt Hon. Greg Hands MP, Minister of State at the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy, United Kingdom who shared the vision that could see hydrogen contributing to 20-30% of the UK’s final energy consumption by 2050.

He revealed the recently opened for applications £240million net zero hydrogen fund, which will support the deployment of new low carbon hydrogen production projects during the 2020’s ensuring the UK has a diverse and secure decarbonised energy system fit for a net zero future.
